The French luxury brand, Hermès, in collaboration with designboom organizes a graphic international design competition for its masculine pillar perfume line, Terre d’Hermès.
Even since its launch in 2006, Terre d’Hermès has become a classic of men’s fine fragrances. Every year, a new design in limited edition decorates both bottle and case, telling the singularity of its universe and its codes, and emphasising the graphic strength of the bottle.

More than a conceptual design competition, this is a call for production.
Our ambition would be to produce a winning design.
Other selected designs can also be potentially used in the future.
The creators of selected designs will receive cash prizes:
-first prize € 3.000 euro
-second prize € 2. 000 euro
-third prize € 1.000 euro
In the event that Hermès exercises the option to use the rights for production on an exclusive basis and sine die (without time limitations), Hermès will pay a one-off fee of € 5,000 euro to the participant for the transfer of intellectual property rights of the selected designs which will be subject to a new agreement between Hermès and the participant.
